Missouri National Guard Foundation

Formed in 2010, the Missouri National Guard Foundation seeks to further enhance support services for Missouri National Guard Members and their families, and veterans and their families; and to build upon the pillars of resiliency to include meeting family, physical, spiritual, social, psychological, and financial needs.

The Foundation also pursues opportunities to provide access to decent and affordable housing for low and moderate income National Guard members and veterans, and their families. The Foundation endeavors to improve economic conditions for low income National Guard members and veterans, and for those who live in poverty or who may be disabled or disenfranchised.

Heart -n- Hand Ministries, Inc

Heart-n-Hand Ministries is a faith based, non-profit organization who strives to meet the needs of the whole person, the Spiritual, Physical, and Emotional, so that they may become independent and self-sufficient.

Heart-n-Hand Ministries, Inc partnered with North Star Housing, LLC on the Ridgeway Villas at the Legends project in Raymore, Missouri. There partnering goal is to provide housing to lower income families and help serve the homeless population in the area. While providing affordable housing to those in need and offering services tailored to the needs of these residents such as financial planning, home ownership responsibilities, and other services geared towards the success of our residents, North Star Housing, LLC and Heart-n-Hand Ministries will make an impact on the lives of our residents.

Developmental Connections

Developmental Connections focuses on developing, maintaining and expanding a variety of Residential, Vocational and/or Related Services that enhance community participation of Taney County, Missouri residents who have a developmental disability.

In 2014, North Star Housing partnered with Developmental Connections for a 100% special needs project for the developmentally disabled. This development features a cluster of independent living facilities for individuals and families with developmental and physical disabilities. Residents in the project will include those who have a developmental disability due to a mental or physical impairment that is expected to continue indefinitely and which substantially limit the persons ability to live independently, and is of a nature that such ability could be improved with more suitable housing conditions.


ReDiscover is a nonprofit community mental health agency that offers a full spectrum of programs and services for people whose lives have been affected by serious mental illness and/or substance use. ReDiscover helps men, women, and children who have limited income, no insurance or who are under-insured.

North East Community Action Corporation

NECAC strives to make a difference by empowering people, improving lives, and building communities. NECACs goal is to assist the disadvantaged within their service area in their efforts to rise above poverty by providing needed services to enable each individual to function at his or her own improved financial, physical, mental, and social level.

Lela Gruebel, a key principle of North Star Housing, LLC has partnered with NECAC on numerous projects. The partnering goal is to provide affordable housing and services to the communities they serve. NECAC provides services such as rental and utility assistance, and programs to gear the residents towards home ownership and financial planning.
